ACE Takes Part in the Preparation for the Mutual Recognition of Skills in the ASEAN RegionThe 4th Regional Skills Technical Working Group (RSTWG) Meeting was held in Manila, Philippines on 10-11 July 2018 with the theme “Moving Towards the Mutual Recognition of Skills Implementation in the ASEAN”. The ASEAN Confederation of Employers (ACE) was invited to provide inputs on the proposed national action plans on the implementation of the mutual recognition of skills among the ASEAN member states.
 
ACE, SAFE Ink MOUThe Asean Confederation of Employers (ACE) and South Asian Forum of Employers (SAFE) signed recently a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The MOU primarily seeks to further the relationship between ACE and SAFE for the mutual benefit of both organizations.
 
Report of ACE President Ancheta K. Tan on the 332nd ILO GB SessionThe 332nd Session of the Governing Body which I attended March 12-22, 2018 just ended with a little bit of drama not often seen in the workings of the ILO. There were many important items discussed, namely, among others, the Standard Initiative, Agenda of the 2019 ILC, the cases in the CFA, the tobacco industry relationship with ILO and the UN System as it is relevant to the ILO.
